EXHIBITION CONCERT
Tribute to Nikoghayos Nikoghosyan

This year marks the 105th anniversary of the birth of the renowned sculptor and People’s Artist of the USSR, Nikoghayos Nikoghosyan. This extraordinary event will pay homage to his exceptional contributions to the world of art.

On September 14, 18:00 an exclusive exhibition showcasing his exquisite sculptures and graphic works will be opened in the two foyers of the Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall.

At 19:00 on the same day, a concert dedicated to the life and achievements of Nikoghayos Nikoghosyan will take place. The Yerevan State Chamber Choir, under the artistic direction and conducting of Kristina Voskanyan, will take the stage to perform an awe-inspiring musical tribute.

The evening’s repertoire will feature works by renowned composers, including O. Messiani, P. Vasksi, Y. Myantiyarvii, J. Tavener, A. Pyarti, A. Avanesov, and K. Neustedt. The performance will culminate in the Armenian premiere of “Exegi Monumentum,” authored by the contemporary composer Sergey Akhunov. The piece is based on the poetry of Horace and is a heartfelt homage to Nikoghayos Nikoghosyan’s memory.
