Diotima Quartet | Master classes
22.09.2023
For the first time in Armenia, the world-renowned Diotima Quartet will perform a concert and conduct master classes.
The group was founded in 1996 by graduates of the National Conservatory of Paris and soon became one of the most progressive and successful musical ensembles of our time. The quartet’s repertory mainly includes works by 20th-century and contemporary composers. Music critics note that even well-known classical works are heard and perceived in a new way by the performance of the quartet.
- On September 22, the members of the quartet, Yun-Peng Zhao (first violin), Léo Marillier (second violin), Franck Chevalier (viola), and Pierre Morlet (cello) will lead master classes with the participation of the students of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.
- The next day, on September 23, at 19:00, the concert of the Diotima Quartet will be held in the Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall
